This year we are benefiting the Palliative Care Department at Rady Children's Hospital, San Diego.

A serious medical condition or injury to a child can alter the course of a family's life.  Palliative Care at Rady Children's is a long term partnership with patients - infant, children, teens, and young adults - that begins at diagnosis.  Rady's team provides an extra layer of support that honor each family's personal values.  The child's other doctors focus on treating their disease or condition.  Palliative doctors concentrate on preventing and alleviating suffering, improving quality of life and helping your entire family to cope.
